Introducing Pixie Challenge Design Team ~ Day Two

We are super excited as we are into day two of introducing our all new Pixie Challenge Design Team

We had 3 new faces yesterday, if you missed the post, please scroll down....

Today we are welcoming 3 more talented team members

from Estonia.....

Kissinia

My name is Ksenia, originally born in Estonia, residing in Ireland for the past 7 years. Happy mother of tow, avid crafter, passionate about card-making and scrapbooking.
I enjoy simple things like cooking, walking and reading. Creating helps me to stay tuned and release my inner self. I started blogging less than a year ago and absolutely happy that I did it. I have found so many interesting people and inspiring ideas around.
I like trying new things like techniques, materials and styles. My friends describe me as crazy woman that is always on the go. I can only complain that days are not long enough. I am honoured to design for several blogs.

Here's 2 lovely cards Kissinia created for Pixie January Challenge

Sheila Burns

Hello, my name is Sheila. I am a mom, a wife, a teacher, a crafter, a reader, and a Pinterest Junkie (in that order, I think, though some days Pinterest might be closer to the beginning of that list!). I have been blogging for about six months now, and I love it! My style has changed so much from when I first started scrapping about eight years ago.... back then, I had decorative scissors and a set of shape stencils. My goal was to put as many pictures on a layout as possible! Now, armed with MANY more tools and supplies, I tend to do many single photo layouts. My style changes frequently, largely due to inspiration from places online like Pixie Dust Paperie. That is why I am so thrilled to be part of the Pixie Challenge Team. I am looking forward to working withe team to bring you our takes on each challenge.

Now look at this beautiful project Sheila created...
so very sweet!!!

Sassy

I'm Sassy and am so honored to be part of the Pixie Challenge Design Team. One of my 2011 challenges was to become part of a design team. Besides being chosen for this team I am also a member of the Perfect Sentiment Challenge Team.
I've enjoyed crafts for as long as I can remember. Besides crocheting and other needle arts, I began scrapbooking 10 years ago, never for myself but for others as hired and for gifts. For years, I didn't quite "get" stamping and what all the fuss and fun was about but once I became active on Splitcoastestampers a new world opened up. Altered art is my passion but also trying my hand at new techniques and working to master those I know but always wanting to perfect a bit more. I am addicted to paper and ink and can never have enough on hand to choose from for the next project. My style is outside-the-box as CAS is more difficult for me. Usually, I pull this and that off my shelves and put it together until I am happy and confident with my creation.
Ask me my age I will say I consider myself forever young-at-heart! Also, I became a cougar way before it took on the meaning it is associated with these days. My husband, Jason, is twelve years younger and he is the most amazing man. We have been married for seven years and together for fifteen. He is my true best friend and I never want to know a day without him. Also, I am the mother of two children (young adults) now 30 and 26, with three fur babies always under foot, and look forward to the day of grandchildren. My dream home is a hobby farm on a lake with llamas and pygmy goats. Notice I said my dream home, not Jason's. Leave out the llamas and goats and he is there 100+ percent!
Positive attitude is a must and happiness is my choice. I believe everyone has a creative side as each one's art is unique and comes in many different ways.
I look forward to this adventure and hope you like my creations.

just look at Sassy's sweet and lovely creation, don't you just LOVE it!

"RILEY" wall hanging by lauren bergold

the best thing to ever happen on valentine's day...in my own very subjective opinion...was the birth of my eldest niece, riley! so i like to celebrate by making something particularly fancy and heart-strewn for that young lady. at some point she will probably grow tired of valentine-themed birthday parties and presents, but so far she still likes them, so i'm going to sneak in one more year, at least!

this started as an oversized card, but at some point i realized it was large enough (the largest heart is nearly 9x9") and heavy enough that i should just attach a bit of ribbon and call it a "wall hanging"!

i've used four patterned papers from the MY FUNKY VALENTINE kit, as well as vintage sheet music, pink cardstock and a bit of the beautiful american crafts lace paper. i've got some of the fun vintage diecuts on there, one of the memory lock and key sets, some of the maya road chipboard alphas (inked & glittered) and of course my favorite dear lizzy rose ribbon trim.

as you can plainly see: my heart--and my valentine--are both overflowing with love and goodness for the special birthday girl! ♥♥♥

Kirsty's note -
That is another pretty project for the special birthday girl, thanks Lauren!
